While Sean J is trying to wrap up his next mixtape The Ego Egg, he decides to put out another track from the project. "Unstoppable", produced by his trademarked beat partner Soy, is not only the 1st official single of The Ego Egg, but is also the opening track. Let this track basically introduce the whole feel for the rest of the project. The Ego Egg mixtape, dropping under Domination Recordings, doesn't have an official release, but should be expected to hit the internet in the next 3-4 weeks. Sean J is also planning on shooting a music video for "Unstoppable".

Fresh Beat Friday Vol. 8 [Another SMF Preview]

It's that time again!! Fresh Beat Friday!. This week I've decided to give you another taste test of the SMF Project I've been working on. Allow me to explain the premise of the SMF Project:

SMF [Silent Movie Flick] is a production crew that consists of Soy is REAL, Funkee Brand, and Decline. This project is split up into 3 sections; each section is a different movie genre and each one of us has produced a 10-track movie score for 3 different genres. Funkee Brand is kickin it off with drama, Soy is REAL will be producing the fantasy/adventure moive, and Decline will be takin it back with a Blaxploitation movie score.

Fresh Beat Friday Vol. 3 (9/11 Edition)

Waddup y'all it's Fresh Beat Friday once again...I know a lot of you were expecting me to leak "Soy Kinda Likes Japan: UNCUT" today, buuuut I happened to run into DJ Sureshot at Cleo's Lounge last night and I'm hoping to have the REAL version of the album done by this weekend.
In other news I'd like to give a big shout to King's Offspring for the dope show they put on last night at the AKA Lounge. It's good to help my fellow artists and friends grow musically and I know that these guys will become something great if they stick with it.

Soulful Sundays...

Waddup world?! I hope everyone is having a beautiful Sunday! Better enjoy today because tomorrow marks the beginning of a brand new semester for some college students (such as myself) haha.
